Mundaca Real Estate Inmobiliaria Our Commitment to Society.
- Mundaca Real Estate Inmobiliaria, takes its place in the Isla Mujeres Municipality with an integral development project that includes the municipality’s real estate, social, cultural and sporting sectors as inseparable parts of a strategy whose main objective is to elevate the quality of life of the population as a whole and support the consolidation of a harmonic, rational and sustainable economic growth.
- As entrepreneurs, we are aware that today, the acquisition of a property is subject not only to each project’s conditions, features, investment plans and facilities. The need for a healthy, protected natural environment and a society with an elevated quality of life are basic demands of those who come to our state and to Isla Mujeres looking for a special place to rest, enjoy or invest.
- Because of the above, and considering that development is not just the satisfaction of material needs, we have oriented part of our entrepreneurial efforts towards improving the community’s quality of life by developing activities in the cultural sector, supporting and encouraging creativity and innovation, promoting sports and favoring integration through art and creative activities.
- In this sense, we have paid particular attention to the development of sports in our state collaborating with the needs of the male and female volleyball teams, with the basketball teams, with the state and municipal soccer leagues and affording tangible support for children and young people who participate in the folklore and Mexican dance groups and for the diverse cultural events coordinated by the Isla Mujeres Municipal government.
- Mundaca, Real Estate Inmobiliaria likewise actively participates by supporting and encouraging diverse initiatives, programs and projects aimed at conserving the environment and improving the municipality’s urban image.
- As entrepreneurs, as citizens, as islanders we are aware that all over the world small islands are special because of their idyllic beauty and their distinctive cultures, and that Isla Mujeres plays a very important role as a guardian of the region’s biological and cultural diversity and in the struggle to protect the environment and the search for a sustainable development.
- In this regard, one of our initiatives with the greatest repercussion is the non-profit editorial company that we have launched with the magazine Atando Cabos, a publication that in its third edition has integrated into the cultural life of the State of Quintana Roo and is consolidating itself as a publication of regional interest.
- Today five thousand completely free bilingual (Spanish-English) issues of Atando Cabos are distributed in strategic places in all the municipalities of the state, a fact that allows us to widely and unrestrictedly disseminate the identity, the beauty, the resources and the traditions of Quintana Roo.
- The accreditation given by the ITI UNESCO” (United Nations Education, Science and Culture Organization), the backing of the Mexican Secretary of Tourism, the support of the Council of Mayan Elders and Priests of the Yucatan Peninsula, the Federation of Fishing Industry Cooperatives of Quintana Roo, and the participation of dozens of collaborators, make Atando Cabos a publication that is representative of the Mexican Caribbean’s cultural diversity, and a part of the oldest and most prestigious non governmental organization of the world (UNESCO), whose editorial distribution reaches cultural delegations in more than 100 countries.
- We are likewise taking the necessary steps for the next edition of Atando Cabos to be distributed in the 32 Mexican states, and in the course of the year reach a publication of 10,000 issues per edition.
- As entrepreneurs we are committed to integral human development and not only economic development, a concept that is based on considering creativity, innovation, research and education as the true motors of development. This is why we are convinced that to invest in culture is to invest in the economy.
- Our goal in permanently supporting environmental protection projects, regional exchange, dissemination, training and job creation, is to encourage harmonic development with the population’s economic, social and cultural requirements.
- In other words, and in the last instance, our best investment is to gamble on a more prepared and better organized society.
